  • Avoid placing items like burning candles or irons on any furniture as the heat generated from them may affect the life of your furniture in the long run, make use of candle holders to avoid melting wax touching the furniture.
  • Cleaning your furniture items regularly will help you maintain them for a long time, make sure that you clean your furniture gently with a soft lightly damp cloth; using a rough rag and pressing it hard against the wood might lead to minor scratches.
  • In case of a spill on the furniture, never try to wipe it as it will spread the spill and hamper the polish, instead just blot the spill.
  • To protect your furniture from moisture, avoid placing it in direct contact with damp walls. We recommend wiping the moisture promptly with a dry, soft & lint free cloth.

Warranty Terms:

  • The furniture is designed and manufactured to provide years of dependable service under normal circumstances and use. The Merchant warrants to the original purchaser that the products are free from defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product. The warranty terms, as mentioned, on the product is provided by the Merchant.
  • The product comes with a 36 months warranty against manufacturing defects in materials that have been used.
  • The warranty does not cover damages due to the usage of the product beyond its intended use and wear & tear in the natural course of product usage.
  • In response to seasonal climate variations, solid wood will contract and expand throughout the life of the product and is thus not warranted for this purpose. Glue lines or other issues related to the natural characteristics of wood are not defects and not covered under warranty, In addition, any claim for seasonal splits, joints opening is limited to 36 months from the time of purchase.

Dear Sir/Ma'amThis is with reference to your Rainbows, sunshine and Happy Furniture To You mail that we received today after our order was delivered. We have had an extremely unpleasant experience with Pepperfry and the saga seems to continue. We had initially ordered the Stigen bed in February 2019, but there were issues with it and had to be returned. We re-ordered the bed in June and received the item today. The previous bed was returned because of quality issues and the new bed that we have received also has quality issues. It seems that we compromised on our comfort hoping that a reputable Brand such as yours would demonstrate professionalism in resolving the issue. However, this has been extremely unsatisfactory. Please find below the details of our case. Case details of our Current purchase: Item Ordered: Stigen Solid Wood King Size Bed with Box Storage in Provincial Teak Finish by Woodsworth [This is the second time we have ordered the same product due to issues with the first one]. The item delivered had two chief problems:oThe middle wooden rod for support under the ply board was broken picture attached. The delivery staff had to go and get a replacement from the workshop. Also, while purchasing online, it was shown that a cashback of around 9k would be credited; which did not happen. oThere was an alignment issue with the ply board and the wooden rod support. The ply board does not fit properly over the support rod, and therefore gets pressed down when pressure is applied on it picture attached. We were told that a carpenter will come tomorrow and fix the problem. Grievance: Such issues in a new product is extremely disappointing. Case Details of our previous purchase: The Stigen King Sized Bed developed a crack in the side panel. Please find the photos attached for your reference. Customer care call 1: We contacted the customer care and were informed the following- oThe bed will be picked up from our residence as the merchant wants immediate pick up. The pick-up process will begin after 5 days. oWe enquired if it was possible to replace our bed with a similar one in any other colour available. We were clearly told that there NO pieces of the bed available in any other colour online. We asked again and the same was confirmed. oFinally as per the call, we were informed that the money will be refunded to us and the bed will be picked up after 5 days. We did place on record our concern that it was a very short notice and we would not have enough time to get another bed. Clearly, this did not deter the above pick up time. Dejected, we agreed for the pick up after 5 days. oAfter the conversation, we received a mail stating that our issue has been noted and a carpenter has been assigned to our case. This was not discussed in the call. oAfter two days, we get a message that the pick up is scheduled. This was shocking because it was too early. This was followed by a series of contradicting messages where one stated carpenter is assigned, another said pick up is scheduled, another stated pick up is cancelled and more. We also got a call from the carpenter requesting us to send pictures on Whatsapp so that he can get the required tools to fix the bed. oWe sent the pictures, thought this was a fixing issue, but when the carpenter came we were informed that they had come for the pick up. Before this, another team had come home unannounced for pick up as well. This entire series of events has been really unfortunate. Customer Care call 2: We contacted the customer care again and requested for an explanation. We also stated that we were informed that no beds of the same make were available online but when we had checked the same day as on Call 1, they were very much available. oThis time, the executive told us to allow the pick up and that our money will be refunded in the Pepperfry account. Moreover, we were assured that we can get the same bed for the same price. oAfter returning the bed, our money was not refunded in the Pepperfry wallet. It was returned to the source account. Pepperfry studio Chandigarh visit:We went and spoke to the Pepperfry team at the studio closest to our location. Our issue was escalated. We received a call from the customer care team saying that the bed was available in only two other colours. Since we were out of options and exhausted by this cumbersome service, we agreed to the deal. Grievance: We were informed that the bed would be available for a price of 36k by applying a coupon. When we tried applying the coupon the beds price was around 40k. We waited and reapplied it at night. This was a weekend offer. It did not work. Two weekends passed, and the coupon did not work. We finally bought the bed for 38390/- which was more than the price we were informed about. Now that we ordered it a second time, we have received a product with damaged part and other issues. As new home setters, we did our research and received such good reviews about Pepperfry. We finally decided on this bed; but the way our case was handled has been extremely disappointing. Such an unprofessional approach of the Pepperfry team to a consumer complaint feels more like a betrayal from a trusted brand. We request you to respond to the following. Since your new product has arrived damaged, and we are waiting for a carpenter to fix it, what will be the warranty period for the same?Kindly explain what the warranty includes.Further, we would like to place on record our harrowing experience with Pepperfry.

My product is delivered but the assembly still hasn't happened, first the delivery guys said that they will only install the bed and they tried as well and then after half an hour they told me that the company will send me a carpenter to assemble the furniture. Still haven't heard from anyone about the installation,in the meanwhile the bed has been left open at my home. Quite a bad experience
