  • Give the mattress a good support. Use a sturdy bed frame with adequate center support that will prevent bowing
  • Rotate the mattress every six months. This is to ensure that a person sleeps on different parts of the mattress to even out the pressure
  • Let the mattress breathe. Use sunlight & air to periodically freshen the top of the mattress
  • Wash the mattress cover if it is removable and washable. However, check the mattress label or warranty for any special instructions on cleaning or maintaining the mattress
  • Use a mattress protector on top of the mattress if it does not come with a removable or washable cover. A washable mattress protector is good to keep the mattress fresh and free from stains

Warranty Summary: Nilkamal will not be liable for any consequential damages and under no circumstances shall its liability hereunder exceed the price of goods determined to be defective. Decision of company regarding the nature of defects & applicability of warranty will be final. Warranty terms are subject to change without prior notice. Disputes regarding warranty, if any, are subject to jurisdiction of Mumbai. Service Type: In case of manufacturing defect contact your nearest area sales office or the concerned dealer with the original cash memo and guarantee card immediately. Covered in Warranty: Nilkamal mattresses are warranted from the date of purchase against any material/manufacturing defects and will be replaced after inspection. The warranty is pro-rated and calculated as per following example: If a Nilkamal mattress of M.R.P. Rs. 10,000 having a warranty of 2 years and develops a defect after 1 year of use, then the calculation of charges for repair or replacement will be calculated as: Rs. 1,000 X 1 Year / 2 Years = Rs. 5,000. The warranty card must be duly filled, stamped & signed by the authorized Nilkamal dealer at the time of a sale to customer. The warranty card and relevant cash memo must be preserved & produced along with product in case of complaint. Not Covered in Warranty: 1) Fabric damages (Including tears, stains, soiling, burns or color fading). 2) Previously repaired or replaced mattress. 3) Damages resulting from accidents, mishandling, heat & improper usage. 4) Body identification/depression of less than 1.5 inches. 5) Transportation cost. 6) Mattress damaged due to misuse. 7) Border wires, which run along the perimeter of the mattress and foundation, bent due to moving or bending the set (For Spring Mattress).
