While we strive for a high degree of image and colour accuracy, minor colour/hue differences may be visible (i.e. prints may be darker, lighter or muted). There may be a minor hue or tone difference between the printed image and how it may appear on your screen. This is because electronic devices and smart-gadget screens are manufactured to enhance colour, which cannot be replicated on print media. You may notice cracks or faded portions in the art prints (in patches or overall), which are part of the original preserved paintings. MEDIA - CANVAS: Our canvas prints are made with only the highest quality looms to ensure you receive a product as close to the original painting as possible. A dense 250gsm cotton-polyester blended canvas has a more delicate mesh texture that helps highlight the original art's printed stroke details, as opposed to a popularly touted thicker 390gsm with deeper woven textures that drown out natural art strokes - thicker isn't always better. The cotton-polyester blend (popularly used for Giclee printing) maintains the longevity of the art print due to ink absorption by cotton and the robustness of colours on adhesion to the polyester surface. FRAME STRUCTURE: Every frame is customised and carefully assembled by skilled craftsmen who ensure quality, right down to the stretcher bars that reinforce it. Our giclee prints are stretched over a frame of seasoned pine wood stretcher bars - a construction that prevents warping or bending and will last for years.
