Each Bone and MOP piece possesses its own natural characteristics and colors, revealed after meticulous grinding and buffing. The intricate patterns are skill fully achieved by inlaying small pieces of Bone and sea shells to form the final motif. The process involves filling the remaining gaps with colored resin to create a seamless design, followed by polishing for a flawless finish. Due to the natural variation in material density, some pieces may absorb resin, resulting in minor color stains or inconsistencies authentic marks of the material's genuineness and handcrafted quality. The creation of each table involves a team of 7-8 highly skilled artisans, dedicating their expertise and precision to every detail. The process includes: Drawing the motif on hardwood HDF. Cutting and grinding Bone/MOP pieces into precise shapes. Applying each small piece meticulously to achieve the desired pattern. Pouring colored resin mixed with hardener to seal the design. Buffing the surface for the perfect finish. The table base is encased in an original brass sheet, secured with screws to enhance its durability and longevity. As real brass is used, it may naturally oxidize over time this intrinsic property can be easily managed by cleaning with Brasso, ensuring the product remains as beautiful as the day it was crafted.
