What is Birch Ply? 

Birch plywood is high quality light weight multi-layered plywood panel made throughout from machine composed birch veneers and faced with a natural whole piece birch veneer of 1.4mm thickness. It is bonded with thermosetting, exterior quality phenolic resin adhesives commonly known as WBP (Weather and Boil Proof) and is compliant California ARB regulations on formaldehyde emissions. Further to that Birch Wood also complies with European E1 standard. 

Extremely Sturdy & Durable 

Birch plywood is formed by layering up three or more layers of birch. This adds a great amount of stability and strength to the plywood. Because the core layers of birch plywood are actually veneers of birch (rather than a softer, secondary wood) and form a void-free core, screws bite and hold with 100% of their threads. Given to this excellent physical and mechanical properties, Birch Plywood has been designed to suit for any and every application where durability, versatility, high bending strength, rigidity, stability, accuracy and tolerance to humidity parameters of performance value are critical. 

Safe & Child-Friendly 

Birch plywood has smooth surface and is free of knots or sharp protruding edges. It is not known to crack or chip-off from the larger piece of wood as against the ordinary plywood. And hence is the best choice of wood type for Kids furniture, cabinets as well as children's toys. In fact, it is ideal for any child-friendly construction. 

Promotes Sustainable Environment 

Birch trees are native to Northern Europe (mainly Finland and the Baltic) and Russia. It is available in abundance and is known to be a fast-growing species. Hence there is no destruction or disruption of biodiversity when birch is felled.
