Will pest control be a messy affair? Do I have to move all household stuff during pest control? Do I have to be away from the house for 1-2 days after pest control?

The cockroaches and ants are now days controlled by using a gel. Unlike in the past, it is not necessary to spray foul smelling insecticides which used to cause a mess in the house. There is no need to empty the drawers and cover up the food. It is also not necessary to close the house and go away. In-fact the family can continue with its routine activities such as cooking, eating or watching TV during this treatment.

 Minute amounts of gel are applied in strategic but inconspicuous locations around the kitchen and the rest of the house. The cockroaches get attracted to gel. They eat it and they die.

Will pest control safe for children? I’m pregnant is pest control cause any harm to me or my child?  Is pest control safe for my elderly parents? Will it harm my pets?

All the chemicals used by us are approved for use by the central insecticides board of India for use in households. Besides using the correct dosage and targeted delivery at the right place makes pest control perfectly safe for all humans including small children, elderly people and pets.

For how long will my house remain pest free after I do pest control? I always keep my house clean, still cockroaches keep coming back. Why? Can you guarantee cockroaches will not come back after doing pest control? 

Inspite of pest control treatment sometimes insects may come again very soon from the surrounding areas. The insecticides allowed mainly kill insects in your house, they do not prevent insects from re-infesting your premises from surrounding areas, from the gutters or come along with groceries, crates, gas cylinders etc.

The time taken for the insects to reinfest varies from place to place. There are premises which remain free from cockroaches for one year after just one treatment and there are premises in which cockroaches reinfest just after fifteen days depending upon the surroundings. It depends primarily on the surroundings and many other factors

We recommend doing pest control for cockroaches at least once every four months; this is the frequency at which we do the service in our annual contract.

Can cockroaches cause harm to my children?

Yes. Pests like cockroaches are known to carry disease causing germs such as diarrhoea, dysentery, food poising etc. As they move from place to place they contaminate food and surroundings. Cockroach allergens - their skin, dead cockroaches and droppings are known to trigger asthma attacks in children.

I have a small child and want to know the safest way to remove all cockroaches?

The latest method of controlling cockroaches using gel is safest for children. Minute amounts of gel are applied in strategic but inconspicuous locations with the help of a syringe. The gel is applied in all cracks and crevices. The cockroaches get attracted to the gel. They eat it and die. Gel has an edible product especially attractive to cockroaches. Gel has cascading effect. Once some cockroaches have eaten the gel they also contaminate other cockroaches thus producing cascading effect throughout the population of cockroaches. This leads to quick eradication.

The gel has no smell. It can be safely applied to sensitive areas such as electrical control boxes, kitchen appliances, computers etc. On which insecticide cannot be sprayed.

About 80% of cockroaches die in about one week. The remaining cockroaches are effectively controlled by three weeks. It takes about ½ hour to treat a flat of about 750 Sq Ft.

After the pest control is done, how to keep cockroach infestation at minimum?

The golden principle for preventing pests is deny them food and shelter. If your premises have cracks and crevices along the door and window frames, particularly in the kitchen, get them filled up by a mason. Any inflated plywood, broken panels of wood, which is normally an ideal refuge of cockroaches, should be replaced. No gap should be left between the cupboards, shelves etc. and the wall. 

 If you have done gel treatment, please follow the steps given below to get maximum benefit:

a) In case you see a few cockroaches post the service, you should not use any chemical spray as this will render the gel ineffective 

b) While cleaning ensure you do not wash or wipe off the gel spots.

c) Keep your kitchen platform and dining table free from food spills, especially during nights. 

d) Avoid keeping unwashed utensils in the sink or at least fill them   with soapy water                                                                          e) Keep food in sealed containers.
