This pre-seasoned cookware is ideal for preparing a variety of Indian dishes, including curries and deep-fried vegetables. Crafted from lightweight cast iron, this cookware offers durability and resilience. Ensure the use of heat-resistant silicone, plastic, or wooden utensils, avoiding metal ones. The cast iron's heat-retaining properties contribute to even heat distribution and keep your food warm. Before the first use, rinse the Femora Cast Iron Cookware with hot water and thoroughly towel dry. Clean the product using dishwashing soap/liquid only, avoiding regular bath soap and harsh detergents. Apply oil generously on the cooking surface and heat on a low flame until it smokes to season the cookware. Now, it's ready for use. For optimal results, cook on medium heat and apply a small amount of vegetable oil before each use. After cooking, clean the tawa with a stiff brush and hot water, then rinse and towel dry. To tackle stuck-on food, pour boiled water on the tawa for a few minutes to loosen residue, then rinse and towel dry. Hand wash only, and after washing, immediately towel dry and apply a light coat of oil to the cooking surface.
