Do I need to assemble the furniture by myself?
The type of Assembly required for your order is specified as part of individual product attributes and could be one of the following:
No Assembly required – Product is delivered pre-assembled and does not require any assembly at the specified order destination.
Self-Assembly – The Furniture has a basic assembly procedure that can be done with simple tools (like a screwdriver) and comes with assembly instructions.
Assembly Required – Product requires Carpenter Assembly or professional service. Pepperfry currently provides Carpenter Assembly service in 100 Cities across the country. In case we service your location, we will organize the Carpenter within 24 hours of getting the request.
When will the furniture be installed/assembled?
Most of our furniture products are assembled by our own carpenters. For all serviceable locations, post receiving a request by you we will arrange for a carpenter within 24 hrs. Do you offer a warranty on your furniture product(s)?
All Pepperfry furniture products are either made by the finest artisans using high quality raw materials or are manufactured by large brands in their state of art facilities. We offer Brand Warranty for most of our furniture products bought of Pepperfry.
In products where it says "Solid Wood", does it mean 100 % solid wood?
Solid wood refers to the primary or base material of the product. Specific products and certain designs may have secondary material used like ply wood, MDF, HDF or particle wood. These materials may be used in back panels or storage base or shutters.
Can the furniture be customized?
While our Design Consultants in select cities will work with you to customize Room Designs, we are unable to customize products.
Will the colour/polish be exactly the same as it appears on the swatches?
We try our best for you get what you see. However, due to factors like studio lightings and screen resolution which differ from device to device, there is a possibility of minor differences perceived in colour.
Fabric colours may also vary basis exposure to light in your surroundings and placement in your house.
How do I get more information about an item before I place my order?

To protect your furniture from fading, avoid keeping your furniture next to windows and other places where it can be exposed to direct sunlight
To avoid minor scratches which may hamper the finish of your furniture avoid sliding or passing items placed on your table top
Avoid placing items like burning candles or irons on any furniture as the heat generated from them may affect the life of your furniture in the long run, make use of candle holders to avoid melting wax touching the furniture
Cleaning your furniture items regularly will help you maintain them for a long time, make sure that you clean your furniture gently with a soft lightly damp cloth; using a rough rag and pressing it hard against the wood might lead to minor scratches
In case of a spill on the furniture, never try to wipe it as it will spread the spill and hamper the polish, instead just blot the spill.
In case of any concerns, please send us photographs of the items to ascertain the reason for return which can be initiated from "My Account" section. Once the return is accepted for refund, you would be contacted by our Customer Care team for product collection. You will need to retain the item with all its seals and trappings (boxes, bags, tags, stickers etc.) intact along with the Original Invoice. You can retain a copy of the Invoice for reference and future correspondence. For any further clarifications do get in touch with our friendly customer care folks.
