• Do I need to assemble the furniture by myself?

  The type of Assembly required for your order is specified as part of individual product attributes and could be one of the following:

  • No Assembly required – Product is delivered pre-assembled and does not require any assembly at the specified order destination.
  • Self-Assembly – The Furniture has a basic assembly procedure that can be done with simple tools (like a screwdriver) and comes with assembly instructions.
  • Assembly Required – Product requires Carpenter Assembly or professional service. Pepperfry currently provides Carpenter Assembly service in 100 Cities across the country. Please enter your Pin Code to determine if Pepperfry Carpenter Assembly is available at your location and contact our Customer Support to schedule your order Assembly. In case we service your location, we will organize the Carpenter within 24 hours of getting the request.

• When will the furniture be installed/assembled?

  Most of our furniture products are assembled by our own carpenters. For all serviceable locations, post receiving a request by you we will arrange for a carpenter within 24 hrs. For products which show "Assembly provided by Seller" on the product details page, the seller will co-ordinate with you for installation/assembly .In case you face any issues, please contact Customer Service Team or write to us

• Do you offer a warranty on your furniture product(s)?

  All Pepperfry furniture products are either made by the finest artisans using high quality raw materials or are manufactured by large brands in their state of art facilities. We offer Brand Warranty for most of our furniture products bought of Pepperfry.

• In products where it says "Solid Wood", does it mean 100 % solid wood?

  Solid wood refers to the primary or base material of the product. Specific products and certain designs may have secondary material used like ply wood, MDF, HDF or particle wood. These materials may be used in back panels or storage base or shutters.

• Can the furniture be customized?

  While our Design Consultants in select cities will work with you to customize Room Designs, we are unable to customize products.

• Will the colour/polish be exactly the same as it appears on the swatches?

  We try our best for you get what you see. However, due to factors like studio lightings and screen resolution which differ from device to device, there is a possibility of minor differences perceived in colour.

  Fabric colours may also vary basis exposure to light in your surroundings and placement in your house.

• How do I get more information about an item before I place my order?

• Try and use a tablecloth or any thick quality cloth on your dining table or any other table which is subject to daily and heavy use
• Do not keep warm or cold items directly on a furniture surface; instead use a hot pad or coasters; please do not keep hot items like a tawa or baking dish even on a hot pad
• To protect your furniture from fading, avoid keeping your furniture next to windows and other places where it can be exposed to direct sunlight
• To avoid minor scratches which may hamper the finish of your furniture avoid sliding or passing items placed on your table top
• Avoid placing items like burning candles or irons on any furniture as the heat generated from them may affect the life of your furniture in the long run, make use of candle holders to avoid melting wax touching the furniture
• Cleaning your furniture items regularly will help you maintain them for a long time, make sure that you clean your furniture gently with a soft lightly damp cloth; using a rough rag and pressing it hard against the wood might lead to minor scratches
• In case of a spill on the furniture, never try to wipe it as it will spread the spill and hamper the polish, instead just blot the spill.

Each piece is hand crafted by the finest artisans using traditional techniques handed down from generations. Wood grain, color variance, texture changes and knots are all part of the charm of the product and may, hence, vary from item to item. Changes of temperature and atmospheric moisture content may cause some movement.

The actual fabric/upholstery may have a slight variance from the product image depending on your screen settings, resolution and photography or fabric print. Products having Kantha stitch, patchwork or applique may vary from the original picture due to the intricacy and complexity of the length and breadth of the loom and yardage.

Furniture having intricate hand-painted details have been painstakingly decorated by Master Craftsmen having honed their skills from the rich legacy left behind from generations of accomplished artisans. Each piece of such Furniture is unique and slight distinctions are possible between the picture and actual product.

Placing an order: Please check dimensions of the entrance/door to your home/office/shop/building/premise before buying, so as to ensure that there is no problem in getting the product inside. In such a situation we will not be able to accept return or cancellation. There are some items that you will need to assemble on your own. For this item please check the details above. While we provide kits to assemble these items, you will need to arrange your own carpenter for assembly. Wherever Pepperfry provides, the carpenter visits will be scheduled subsequent to the delivery of the item.

On Delivery: For all items that are expected to stand, ensure that the item is steady and straight. Unevenness up to 5 mm happens due to difference in surfaces and floor levels and is an accepted industry standard. Bushes will have to be attached to balance the item. Please report the item to our Customer Support team and we will take it on from there. In case of dust or a lack of shine, rubbing the surface with a cloth will help. This is an accepted method for cleaning the surface of a furniture item and making it shine.

Damages: Pepperfry shipping arrangements to your doorstep have been designed to ensure a zero-damage, hassle-free experience, please contact us immediately, in case:

• Your item has any scratches or breakage that unfortunately might have occurred in the course of transit warranting your item to be fixed
• Any instruction manual, screws, nuts etc that might have been missed, should be informed to Customer Support immediately, so that they can arrange for the same to be delivered to you
• Your item arrives in damaged condition. All claims for damage must be made maximum within 7 days of receipt of the item. Your request for a repair or refund will be processed as soon as we receive the photographs of the damage to ascertain extent. We request you to retain all packing materials unless instructed otherwise by our team. You have an option of getting a full refund or repair of the product that was received in damaged condition. Refunds for furniture returns will be processed when the item(s) has been picked up by us. Hence, please allow up to 2 to 3 weeks for reverse and then subsequent refund to process.

Cancellations: 

No cancellations will be accepted once an order is placed.
